Command line
Every claude-rotation command, what it does, and the page that explains it.
Everything Kairos does on a Mac can also be done from a terminal with claude-rotation. The installer puts it in ~/.local/bin. claude-rotation help lists every command with its options.
Each Claude Code account is a Claude Code config folder of its own, signed in by Claude Code itself. Rotation chooses the folder new sessions start in; it never handles a login.
Where a command takes ACCOUNT, it is the account's number in the list claude-rotation accounts prints.
Accounts
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
accounts (or list) |
One line per account: a star on the active one, its number, its name or e-mail, its 5-hour and weekly use, and whether it is signed in, out of rotation, or a seat not yet confirmed. |
add-account [--email ADDRESS] [--name NAME] |
Adds a Claude subscription account in a Claude Code folder of its own. Claude Code's sign-in opens in the browser. With --email, Kairos warns if you sign in as someone else; the account is still added. |
add-account --own |
Adds the login Claude Code already uses on this Mac, as it is, with no new sign-in. |
sign-in ACCOUNT |
Signs the account's folder in again, with Claude Code's own sign-in in the browser. |
sign-in ACCOUNT --folder |
For an older install that still rotates with cswap: signs in the account's own folder only, and cswap keeps rotating. See Priming. |
remove-account ACCOUNT |
Claude Code signs the account's folder out, and Kairos forgets the account. Its history stays. |
seat ACCOUNT --confirm |
A Team or Enterprise seat is used only once you confirm it is assigned to you. |
seat ACCOUNT --unconfirm |
Holds the seat out of rotation again. |
raw |
The accounts as JSON. |
For example:
claude-rotation add-account --email account2@example.com
claude-rotation seat 2 --confirm
The same accounts, with their menus, are on Accounts.
