What's new
The release notes of this version of Kairos.
Mac
- Hardware: a new page for your Mac's CPU, GPU, memory, disk and network. Each part shows its use over the last hour, day or week, and who used it: sessions, apps, and macOS and other users. Disk shows the disk's space first, then its activity. Hardware replaces Disk in the sidebar and "This Mac" on Sessions. Memory and disk alerts open Hardware at the part they are about.
- Usage: when Anthropic refuses an account's usage reading while the account still works, the account says "Usage refused" instead of "Usage unavailable". Kairos then renews that account's login itself with a one-word request, at most once every six hours, so the reading can work again. It sends none while 5-hour windows are off in Settings.
- Sign-in: a sign-in made as a different account than the one asked for no longer passes quietly. Kairos tells you which account you signed in as, and switches back to the account you had chosen. The log also says where each sign-in page opened.
- Billing: Google and Apple don't allow their sign-in inside an app's window. Where the Billing window said only "There was an error logging you in", it now says to choose Continue with email: Claude sends a code to the same address.
- Renewals: an account's renewal day now comes from its billing page ("will auto renew on Dec 6") once you open Billing for it in Kairos, instead of a month on from when Claude Code first saw the subscription. Rotation plans each account's week to that day. The Billing window now reads pages in any currency, not only dollars.
- Accounts: the Resets column, at its narrowest, puts a time on two lines instead of cutting it.
- Dashboard: the web dashboard has a Hardware section too, with the same parts, ranges and who used them, and a table for each chart.
- Docs: Kairos's documentation is now on the website, under Docs.
iPhone and iPad
- Hardware: your Mac's CPU, GPU, memory, disk and network, and who used them. On iPhone it opens from a card on Today; a wide iPad has it as a tab. It replaces Disk.
- Renewals: an account's renewal day comes from its billing page once the Mac has read it.
