What Kairos does by itself
Use up by
Telling Kairos when an account's capacity ends — an invoice overdue, a plan not renewed, a month's included usage — so rotation spends it first, or reminds you; the sheet, every month, and the command.
Some capacity ends at a time only you know: an invoice that will go overdue, a plan you will not renew, a month's included usage. Use up by tells Kairos that time.
What Kairos does
- A Claude Code account: rotation spends it first while that pays, and the week plan counts whatever is left at that time as lost. The sheet says: "Rotation spends it before then, and says what would still go unused."
- Another tool's account that Kairos cannot read: a reminder before then. "Kairos reminds you before then: it cannot read what is left."
A moment and an alert come before the time ("Use up by" in Settings › Alerts).
Setting it
From the account's menu, Use Up By…. The sheet is titled "Use work up by":
- Ends: the date and time;
- Every month: the same day and time each month, for a month's included usage;
- Remove takes it off; Cancel and Save.
