Today
The first screen on every platform — moments, insights, sessions waiting on you, the active account and its room, what comes next, what is coming back, the week card and the day's charts.
Today is where Kairos opens. Read from the top, it answers: does anything need me, which account is in use and how long will it last, and how did today go?
From the top
Moments
The moments waiting now, newest first: capacity about to go unused, accounts running out, a session using far more than usual, Night Shift's brief. Each opens the screen that acts on it.
Terminal line
If the line that makes claude start on Kairos's account is not in your shell yet, a card offers to add it ("Kairos adds a line to your shell's startup file; Settings takes it out again.").
Insights and Ask
What stands out about your accounts and sessions, ranked, and Ask. See Insights and Ask. With nothing to say: "Nothing stands out right now."
Needs you
Sessions waiting for your answer or a permission, each with Open. "Answer it in its own window." A long list ends with "and N more, in Sessions".
The active account
- Active: the account new sessions start on, for example
work, and its room in large figures: "62% left". - One meter per window: "5-hour 38% used, resets 14:20", "Weekly 51% used, resets Thu 09:00", and any other limit the account has.
- If the account is held (a cap, a pause), the reason shows in terracotta under its name.
- "No account is active" when none is.
Next
The account rotation would move to next, with Switch now: "Switch to side now; Kairos keeps it until it reaches 95%." Switching asks first ("Switch to side? New sessions use it now."). See Rotation.
Coming back
Accounts out of room now, and when each comes back. "Every account has room." when none is out.
Week ahead
A card with the week's cover: "All hours" or "Short from Thu 18:00", sessions that would expire unused, and the forecast. It opens Week ahead.
Charts
The day's charts, each over the last 24 hours. See Charts for how to read them.

All models picks one model for the token and call charts. Who used it last on a chart opens the sessions behind a moment.
Accounts
On an iPhone, the accounts list ends Today: each account with its windows. Tap one for Accounts.
When Today cannot read the Mac
